i saw TYA in 1970 in San Francisco. Totally different era then. I had a pair of binoculars with me and was underneath Alvin Lees face for hours. The show was spectacular. Very conciousness expanding. Later bought the Cricklewood Green album and just listened to it this morning to wake me up. Thought I would google TYA and have been transported to another time and place of sight and sound.....the door to the twilight zone?? PAX

just got back from seeing 10 years after. original members except for alvin lee. his lead role was filled by an amazing young talent called joe gooch. the show was amazing. a must see! [blows away alvin lee with his other band] leo lyons, rick lee and chick churchill are still one of the greatest live rock acts. don't miss them. there were only about 200 people at the show.there had been zero promotion for the show. word of mouth spreads fast in boston, when the word is real rock and roll. next time it'll be "a really big shoe" I was in heaven. met them all, chatted a bit. my boyhood idols. as nice as can be. hard to believe, but they were as good as 35 years ago, at the tea party. and joe makes you forget about alvin [temporarily of course] joe, you do the band proud. can't wait to be rocked again. thanks for a beautiful night.

Saw the Sellersville show. Havent seen that much rocknroll energy in years. (and we attend about 30 shows a year!) Wife is now in love with Leo! Great call opening with "working on the road". Right after the house lights came on, after the encore, someone shouted "Alvin who"? Exactly!

saw the gig in Sellersville last night. Band sounded great and better live.
Hope you tour this area again. It was a real pleasure to hear music with substance on a hard blues baseline again.
Thanks.

Just saw the band at Sellarsville Theater PA. Great venue for the band, and what a Tuesday night. The first time I remember the band I was in the third form at school in England. Sounded like they had not changed at all. They were awesome.I cannot believe that Joe Gooch played so brilliantly and effortlessly. I can honestly say that Ric's drum solo was the first time in many years I was not waiting for the guitars to come in. The Sellarsville Theater is a nugget. The band came outside and chatted to everyone. I thought Chick was outstanding until he told me he was a Forest fan.If you are reading this before you decide to see these guys, just bite the bullet you wont be disappointed.

:D Saw your show @t Celtic House in Fishkill NY last weekend. was Intense !!
Crowded house that nite. Too bad it wasn,t an outdoor show . Joe Gooch CAN play Alvin Lee,s leads , Iwas impressed!!!
Always thought TYA was for Rockers who got tired of Zeppelin or whatever band was "confabbed" at the time.
you guys take care , stu
